If we want to be like Jesus, we’ll need to stop relying on the human tools of power, manipulation and guile to make things work out to our advantage. |

If we want to be like Jesus, we can expect people to wrong us significantly, providing opportunities for us to offer them grace, mercy and forgiveness, in turn. |

If we want to be like Jesus, we’ll find a way to balance the virtues of moderation and self-control with passion for both people and for God. |

If we want to be like Jesus, we’ll learn to give those around us space to make mistakes, to misunderstand us, to be foolish and full of themselves - and still love them. |

If we want to be like Jesus, we’ll have to learn to respond positively, not just to the attractive and those who can help us, but to all, equally. |

If we want to be like Jesus, we’ll find ourselves in a variety of circumstances each one of which will call for an appropriate response. |

If we want to be like Jesus, we must be ready for the people God brings crashing into our lives presenting us with opportunities to be open and approachable as Jesus was or staying safe, closed and comfortable in our own little world. |

If we want to be like Jesus, we must be prepared for God to put us in circumstances where the best answer will set us at odds against conventional wisdom and social norms. |

|
If we want to be like Jesus, we will have to risk being seen as unconventional by those who are bound by tradition. |
|
|
If we want to be like Jesus, we will have to be resolute, unhesitating in following God's purpose for us. |
|
|
If we want to be like Jesus, we will have to risk abandon our natural sense of what seems right to us and accept what God says is right. |

|
If we want to be like Jesus, we will have to meet people where they are and value them equally. |
|
|
If we want to be like Jesus, we will have to move toward people in love. |
|
|
If we want to be like Jesus, our words and actions need to be relevant in the relationships in which we engage. |
|
|
If we want to be like Jesus, we'll have to learn how to live out the truth in very practical ways. |

If we want to be like Jesus, we'll have to adjust our thinking to accommodate the idea that appropriate boldness is a virtue, not a vice. |
|
|
If we want to be like Jesus, we'll have to turn time from being our enemy, to our friend - letting it serve God's purpose in our lives. |
|
|
If we want to be like Jesus, we'll need to know what God wants us to do and be single-minded about accomplishing that. |
|
|
The purpose of these features is to "live with Jesus" so that we can learn from Him - learning to live from the source of life. |
